My work brings together industrial AI, functional safety, and embedded systems to turn research into practical solutions for industry. I welcome collaborations with companies, research organisations, and universities to develop cognitive industrial systems that are autonomous, adaptable, safe, reliable, and trusted by people.

As Area Manager at Pro²Future, I shape the research agenda, lead a multidisciplinary team, and secure industrial and publicly funded R&D projects that turn scientific advances into industrial solutions. Through my affiliation with TU Graz, I also supervise students and develop emerging research talent. Building on my expertise in dependable and safety-critical embedded systems, I advance AI for safety, safety for AI, intelligent automation, and AI-assisted engineering - to make industrial systems more capable, adaptive, and trustworthy.
